UPL Ltd., a major player in global food systems and sustainable agriculture solutions, announced the appointment of Ashish Dobhal as regional director for India region. Earlier, he was serving as the head of UPL’s Agri Formulation business.
Dobhal will be replacing Sameer Tandon, who previously held the position of regional director of UPL – India region and has now been chosen as the regional director for ASEANZ (Australia, Southeast Asia and New Zealand).

Further, Shroff also appreciated Sameer for his contribution to the India region wherein he exemplified a optimistic shift in the operating model of the business from being product driven to a solutions model.

Dobhal has a rich experience of more than 20 years in the field of Agri business. In his journey of over 17 years with UPL, he has worked at a number of leadership positions across China, Taiwan, Middle East, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Turkey and European countries. He has played a pivotal role in the success and development of UPL in these regions.
