Tata Consumer Products (TCP), the consumer products company has appointed David Atkinson as Senior Vice President and Head, UK & Ireland.

In his new role as Country Head, David Atkinson will be responsible for leading the business and teams in UK and Ireland. This includes developing and executing a growth roadmap for the company as well as enhancing operational excellence.

Combining its interests in tea and ready-to-drink products, TCP will be focusing on strengthening and growing its three key beverage brands- Tetley, Good Earth and teapigs in international markets. David Atkinson will be based in London and report to the President of the International Business, Gharry Eccles.

David Atkinson comes with over two decades of experience, having joined Tata Consumer Products from Hain Daniels Group where he served as Managing Director, Grocery. Prior to this, he has held key leadership roles at companies such as Procter & Gamble and RHM plc (formerly Ranks Hovis McDougall).

David Atkinson has a proven track record for driving strategic transformation and brings considerable experience of building and nurturing consumer and challenger brands at an exciting juncture in TCPs growth journey.
