The resuming of its paradigmatic restaurant situated at Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru has been made public by Subway India. The renovated restaurant, flaunting the new ‘Fresh Forward’ décor, was reopened at the airport kerbside in the attendance of franchise owner and officials from Bangalore International Airport Limited – operator of BLR Airport.

Griffith David, owner of the Subway franchise at BIAL stated- “Since the establishment of the restaurant, we have witnessed an impressive response from travellers and food lovers roaming through the city. The fact that we have received numerous fancy awards over the years, including the recognition for the highest unit sales globally, is an evidence of our devotion towards consonantly providing an overwhelming dining experience to our customers at BLR Airport.”

“With the new Fresh Forward decor, fresh salads, delicious sandwiches, environment-friendly vertical gardens and soaring canopies, we are all equipped to serve our patrons once again with revitalized enthusiasm,” he further said.

The restaurant has been revamped in compliance with the ‘Fresh Forward’ design, a unique concept created to modify and improve the dining experience at the restaurants.  The restructuring includes transformation of the gross ornamentation, décor and look of the restaurants so as to make them appear fresh and modern. As part of this endeavour, the brand has adopted an avant-garde approach by setting up digital menu boards, USB charging ports and providing Wi-Fi, among other features at the restaurants. The brand has reinvigorated everything from packaging to how fresh ingredients are exhibited at the restaurants, as per the planned concept.

In the view of the on-going pandemic, the brand also ran a creative campaign #SubwayIsSafe, on digital platforms to strengthen up its existing health and food safety norms that are being stringently followed at all restaurants. The safety measures include hourly sanitization and disinfection drill, face masks or face shields and single-use gloves for sandwich chefs and delivery agents, contact-less delivery experience, safe supply chain, daily thermal screening of staff, etc.

The brand heads the way in the instant service restaurant industry in terms of its product line-up which is customarily considered fresh and healthier. The brand has been modernizing its look and feel in a new design for modulating its experience complying with the likes and taste preferences of the modern guest.
