Could you start by letting us know the benefits that SIG XSlimBloc and SIG SmileSmall bring to the F&B manufacturers and what problems do these solutions aim to address and how have they helped improve the productivity for the dairy manufacturers?
SIG XSlimBloc and SIG SmileSmall are two of our modern packaging solutions designed for on-the-go and ever-busy consumers to carry beverages conveniently and safely while managing their everyday schedules. In today’s market, where consumers seek packages that are easy to carry, these versatile and lightweight packages make them perfect on-the-go solutions.
The SIG XSlimBloc is available in 9 flexible volumes (ranging from 80 ml to 200 ml) and offers various closure options. The SIG SmileSmall is available in 4 volumes (from 180 ml to 250 ml) and comes with a choice of closure or straw openings, providing multiple options for customers and consumers. Additionally, these packages can be filled on the respective production line, reducing costs, time and waste rates for customers, designed to meet the dynamic demands of the market. Customers can choose the right price point and volume combination.
How is SIG’s Drinksplus technology introduced for MilkyMist expected to add value to the healthy beverages?
SIG Drinksplus, introduced for MilkyMist, represents our latest innovation in beverage packaging solutions. The integration of this technology into their filling machines will enable MilkyMist to aseptically fill beverages with real fruit and nut pieces in SIG SmileSmall carton packs. Furthermore, it will facilitate the filling of higher viscosity products such as dairy creams. By leveraging this technology, MilkyMist can expand its product portfolio and introduce new products to meet evolving market needs.
A bit about SIG’s contributions towards CSR activities, including its efforts on the sustainability front such as the One Ton Initiative that was launched in collaboration with 12 schools across Delhi NCR.
The One Ton Initiative is one of the significant sustainability initiatives of SIG India, launched to raise awareness about waste management. It aligns with our commitment to creating a better world for future generations by promoting environmentally friendly practices and reducing our carbon footprint. We launched this initiative in 12 schools in NCR, spreading awareness among the younger generation about waste segregation and its necessity for our environment. Our program is designed to broaden their understanding and motivate them to participate actively. We believe that educating children at an early age about the importance of proper waste disposal will instill a sense of responsibility towards the environment, which they are likely to continue following in the future.
How is your company catering to the diverse needs of your customers in the F&B Industry?
We firmly believe that continuous improvement and innovation are the keys to meeting the diverse needs of the market and staying ahead of the competition. We take feedback from our customers and consumers and keep innovating with our products and services to ensure we are always delivering quality and most relevant packaging solutions. We also keep a close eye on the market to stay updated on emerging market trends to adapt quickly to the changes.
Finally, a bit about your plans for expansion or investment in the Indian Market in the coming days?
India is one of the leading dairy producers in the world, making it a crucial market for food and beverage companies, and consequently, for us. The demand for aseptic packaging solutions in India is expected to surge in a couple of years.

To be prepared, we laid the foundation of our 10th global aseptic packaging manufacturing unit in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, last year. We are also widening our reach across the country and exploring options in neighbouring South Asian countries as well.
