To develop its non-alcoholic carbonated drinks (CSD), Planet, Bubble Up, American Cola brands and to meet the needs of the domestic consumer market in larger formatde to help it remotely customize its packaging line to produce 1L bottles

In just three days, the company’s multi-expertise team from all over the world was mobilized to guide and empower the customer for rapid installation of larger sizes.

The company previously produced drinks in small takeaway sizes (300ml and 350ml) and had to adapt its production to domestic consumption with a larger size (1L).

With travel restrictions due to Covid-19 and to ensure a fast launch of the new 1L bottle, the line was modified remotely using Remote Video Assistance and Remote Access solutions. The complete packaging line with a Combi SF300 for CSD, installed in 2018, can now handle not only takeout formats, but also 1L bottles for three of its flagship brands.

To do this, an international team of high-level experts from Pakistan, Italy, Portugal and the United Arab Emirates was mobilized to ensure flawless line conversion.

Remote collaboration, the continuous availability of Sidel experts, accurate and clear communication between the two parties and specific documentation enabled the successful installation of the new equipment necessary for the operation of the new 1L bottle format.
