SIAL India, world’s No.1 Food Innovation Network, powered by MoFPI (Ministry of Food Processing Industries) collocated with Vinexpo India, an event by Vinexposium, Comexposium and Inter Ads, hosted their exhibit at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi from 1st December to 3rd December, 2022.

The two leading shows were brought together to amplify the perfect synergy between wine, beverages, and food. This edition of SIAL India, co-located with Vinexpo India saw a footfall of 250+ exhibitors, 8000+ trade visitors, across 7000 sqm gross area making it the ideal networking & business platform for the food & beverage industry. The event took place in New Delhi from 1st -3rd December,2022. The show, which is one of the first of its kind in India in the B2B space, was jointly organized by InterAds Exhibitions, Comexposium and Vinexposium.
The Guest of Honour for the inauguration of the exhibition was Dr. M. Angamuthu, Chairman APEDA. The ceremony was also attended by dignitaries like the Hon’ble EU Ambassador H.E. Ugo Astuto, Hon’ble Italian Ambassador H.E. Vincenzo De Luca and the Hon’ble Portuguese Ambassador H.E. Carlos Pereira Marques. The event was also attended by Chef Manish Bhasin, Corporate Chef ITC and Mr. Amit Lohani, FIFI Founder Director.

The exposition had a great lineup of conferences, live cooking by renowned chefs like Chef Kunal Kapoor and Chef Anahita Dhondhy and masterclasses among the activities.

The show hosted a programme of 15+ masterclasses and tastings for the public. Throughout the 3 days shows, there were also the following interactive activities:

Hosted Buyer Meeting – Our hosted buyers met with a selected batch of exhibitors that match their sourcing requirements for both SIAL and Vinexpo India exhibitors.
Conference – Each day of the exhibition, conference sessions ran parallel to the exhibition. The topics for which were related to the food market trends presented by industry leaders and experts. A special session focused on EU and India GeoPolitical Avenue was held by EU on the 2nd December, 2022.
SIAL Innovation Award – A curated Awards show was organized for the exhibitors showcasing their most innovative products. The awardees benefited from visibility on all SIAL India platforms and the top 3 winners’ products will be showcased in all SIAL Network events for a year. The winners of this year are: gold to Happilo for kaju katli spread, silver to Happilo for chickpeas, bronze to holy spice for spicy garlic sea salt mix.

Vinexpo Master Class – The established Backbone of Vinexpo India. The masterclass was led by the master of wine or sommeliers where wine pairing and tasting took place and was attended by everyone. It has been a must attend zone at all Vinexpo India. There was a masterclass led by Mika Eoka and Ravi Joshi, Co-founders Sake Club India on the Diversified World of Sake. Cav. Subhash Arora also led a discussion on the Expanding World of Bulk Wines.
