ProAmpac, a global leader in flexible packaging and material science, proudly launches its 5th annual Global Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Week, taking place on Tuesday, April 22, through Monday, April 28. This annual event underscores ProAmpac’s ongoing commitment to workplace safety and environmental responsibility across its global network.
The theme for this year, “Our Planet, Our People!”, reflects ProAmpac’s dedication to supporting the well-being of its employees and the environments in which it operates. Each ProAmpac site will host at least one safety-focused and environmentally conscious activity, furthering its mission to foster a culture centered on safety, sustainability, and community care.
Global Milestones & Site Highlights
ProAmpac’s Global EHS Week coincides with Earth Day (April 22) and the World Day for Safety and Health at Work (April 28), emphasizing environmental care and workplace safety. This year’s focus on Personal Risk Assessment supports ProAmpac’s belief that all incidents are preventable.
Sites worldwide will host activities like recycling, tree planting, safety games, community cleanups, and butterfly habitat creation, many of which will support ProAmpac’s ongoing Project Butterfly biodiversity initiative.
“EHS Week reflects ProAmpac’s commitment to safety, sustainability, and community,” said Cindy Haven, director, EHS. “These activities showcase the passion and impact of ProAmpac’s employees.”
