ProAmpac, a global leader in flexible packaging and material science, will showcase its expertise in sustainable packaging innovation at SPC Impact 2025, taking place April 29-May 2 in Seattle, Washington, the industry’s premier event for advancing packaging sustainability.

At Booth 37, ProAmpac will present its latest sustainable film and fiber-based packaging solutions advancements. In addition, the company will lead an interactive workshop designed to challenge perceptions and inspire smarter choices in packaging sustainability, further demonstrating its commitment to driving innovation and education across the industry.

“As a leader in sustainable, flexible packaging, ProAmpac is committed to developing solutions that align with our customers’ evolving needs and support industry-wide sustainability goals,” said Sal Pellingra, vice president of global package design, applications, and business development at ProAmpac CIC. “SPC Impact provides an invaluable platform to engage with industry leaders and drive forward conversations that shape the future of packaging.”

      Key solutions on display include:

      • Recyclable and Compostable Packaging – A range of fiber-based and mono-material flexible film solutions that meet sustainability targets while maintaining product protection and performance.
      • Food-to-Go Packaging—Innovative packaging formats, including wraps, sandwich packs, and stand-up pouches, offer a balance of functionality, freshness, and recyclability.
      • High-Performance Flexible Films—These lightweight, high-barrier materials extend shelf life, reducing material usage and carbon footprint.

ProAmpac will also host an engaging workshop, Sustainable Game Show Competition, on April 30 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM in the Elwha Ballroom B. Led by Sal Pellingra, Chaz Gamache, and Jenni Robley, this interactive session will challenge public perception versus data-driven insights on sustainable packaging. Attendees will participate in a dynamic “Sustainable Feud” competition exploring key topics such as lightweighting, material choices, shelf life, and product waste. This engaging format will foster discussion and provide valuable insights into the environmental impact of packaging.
