      Oterra ready to support food and beverage manufacturers in the move to natural colors

      Oterra has more than 150 years’ experience in pioneering natural colors and will be ready to help with sourcing of raw materials and the supply of colors and color solutions that can satisfy the food and beverage industry

      Oterra has welcomed the decision by The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to phase out petroleum-based artificial colors in food and beverages, and has promised to support food and beverage manufacturers converting to natural colors.

      Martin Sonntag, CEO commented:

      “Oterra has a strong foothold in the North American market. In December last year, we opened a new facility in the US combining innovation and application labs with a manufacturing and logistics facilities to meet the expected growth of natural colors and coloring foodstuffs in the country.”
