Nandu’s chicken has introduced two ready-to-cook (RTC) items – Nandu’s Nawabi Chicken Dum Biryani and Nandu’s Donne Chicken Biryani.

Quicker than ordering in and simpler than going outside for one, the biryani mixes, masalas and kits can be purchased from the market. It is an all-inclusive offering comprising of a complete ready to cook biryani kit which contains chicken biryani mix, tender chicken pieces, sherva being complementary for Donne Biryani and salan a complement for Nawabi Biryani and rice too (jeera rice for Donne Biryani and basmati rice for Nawabi Biryani. One packet is enough for two perosns.

Talking about the new launch, Narendra Pasuparthy, CEO of Nandu’s stated- “At Nandu’s, our aim is on creativity at the product level so as to offer three things to our patrons- Food that doesn’t contain hormones, steroids or antibiotics, and any form of growth promoters; food that is delicious, genuine, and brings joy to everyone in the family; food that provides easement, without compromising on health and flavour. Nandu’s Nawabi Chicken Dum Biryani and Nandu’s Donne Chicken Biryani fulfill all these criterions. Moreover, it’s India’s most-preferred food – a full meal in itself – which we have prepared carefully with a lot of affection.”

The company declared that since March 2020, the call for Nandu’s RTC array of products, like Chicken 65 and Butter Chicken Masala, has spiked up by over two-fold. For FY 2021-’22, the company is aiming a revenue contribution of 20% from the RTC vertical, with the recently unveiled Biryanis serving as a stimulant for this growth. While there are numerous local alterations that have developed into unique styles of biryanis, Nawabi Chicken Dum Biryani is simply the most famous one.

Vinay Gopinath, CEO of Nandu’s said- “The new product development team at Nandu’s has been toiling incessantly for 4+ months on biryani recipes. Our detailed customer research depicts that when customers order biryani from eateries, they find the chicken pieces inadequate. Many have to order an additional biryani just to obtain on more chicken pieces! We did several customer trials to reach at the magic formula for Nandu’s Nawabi Chicken Dum Biryani and Nandu’s Donne Chicken Biryani. Nandu’s Biryanis will offer 250 grams of antibiotic-free, soft and juicy chicken pieces to its customers. Our biryani manifesto says- ‘More Meat Per Bite’.”
