Lohiya Group opened its new biscuit manufacturing plant located in Medchal near Hyderabad, Telangana, to demonstrate its support for technology-based sustainable production within the FMCG sector. The firm will dedicate Rs 300 crore to food processing sector expansion activities throughout the next four years while showcasing its development strategy.

The Lohiya Confectionery facility utilizes innovative technology to pursue sustainable growth while focusing on future development and eco-friendly management. Seven acres make up the production facility, which currently maintains a 1,000-ton monthly output but possesses built-in scalability features to increase operations to 5,000 tons per month capacity in the future.

The flexible design structure will allow the company to reach increased sales in domestic and international markets. The new facility creates major job opportunities directly and indirectly, as it will generate 2,000 direct positions while enabling 4,000 employment roles through its extended supply system and distribution network. The Medchal facility for the group stands ready to fulfill a vital position within both the local economy and India’s wider processed food industry.
