Licious, a Bengaluru based meat and seafood brand officially announced the appointment of Vakul Agarwal as Vice President, Growth. He would be responsible for driving the growth of the brand across all channels, as it enters a post-unicorn era. Agarwal’s appointment comes on the heels of other key strategic additions made to the brand’s leadership team.

Agarwal possesses over 10 years of experience of creating superlative customer experience, as he has worked in diverse sectors that include e-commerce, consumer internet and technology. He will be instrumental in devizing marketing and product strategy with agile initiatives and prudent risk-management.

In his earlier stint with Grofers (now Blinkit) that lasted 6.5 years, he had played multiple roles that included leading the digital marketing team into building the industry’s biggest property ‘GOBD’ to leading product teams to ultimately leading overall growth for the business.

Additionally, he had been recognized as the Digital Leader of the year – 2018 by IAMAI for the retention and consumer lifecycle engine that was successfully implemented for the business and brought significant efficiencies in the retention spends.

Prior to Grofers (now Blinkit), Agarwal was a consultant with McKinsey & Company and American Express. He is an alumnus of IIT Bombay.
