One of India’s renowned dairy brands, Keventers, is committed to expand its dessert footprint throughout the country, with the launch of its new ‘Ice Creamery’ brand that would be having 6 ice cream flavours that are funny and appealing to start with –

This brand that possesses a 96 year old legacy not only caters to nostalgia but also is well aware of what Millennials and Gen Z expect from a product. Presently, there’s plenty for all. Starting right from grandparents and parents who can recall their good old days at Keventers in Connaught Place to their children, who have collected their glass bottles that used to be topical and quirky, Keventers have managed to establish their presence in the dessert space with the launch of their new product range on to their portfolio.

From among all of the new flavours that Keventers has introduced in its new ice cream packs there is something for each and everyone of us. For chocolate aficionados, the range consists of Belgian Chocolate that is prepared from dark cocoa of superior quality and Triple Chocolate, with swirls of dark chocolate ice cream mixed with cookie chunks as well as chocolate bits, thereby making the new flavours even more indulgent.

The Alphonso Mango which is considered to be everyone’s summer favourite possesses the sweetness of the Ratnagiri Alphonso mangoes folded into a rich and buttery creaminess, while the Mocha Almond Fudge Brownie contains brownie bits and fudge chunks whirled into caffeinated notes of mocha, which puts your mocha cravings to a sweet end.

The range also comprises of berry new flavours, with Blueberry Cheesecake, which has the sweet tartness of blueberries and the crunch of buttery biscuits and last but not least, Exotic Strawberry, prepared from lush and juicy strawberries, which are considered to be an all-time favourite! The ice creams do not consist of any added preservatives or flavour.

The brand has continued to be a trend-setter in the F&B space, especially when it comes to product and packaging design, with their iconic glass bottles as well as sundae jars. Their new ice cream packs are committed to carry on with this trend with colourful illustrative artworks along with their recently launched brand mascot Mr. K.

The mascot is a modern-day embodiment of the visionary who initiated it all, who is none other than Mr. Edward Keventers. He possesses a friendly grandpa-esque personality brought to life through ‘KeventersComics’. The only major player that has been successfully deploying sustainable paper packaging in the Ice Cream market is Keventers. 

Talking about the new product launch, Agastya Dalmia, Founder & CEO, Keventers, stated- “After successfully launching Keventers ice-cream packs 2 years ago and piloting them across Delhi NCR, we are very excited to announce this latest development from the brand. We have worked very hard to keep the legacy of Keventers going and ‘Keventers Ice Creamery’ reflects another step forward towards expanding our presence pan India and diversifying our dessert portfolio. The pandemic was difficult for a lot of businesses, but we owed it to our consumers to keep the magic of Keventers alive. Today, we are focused on building direct to consumer formats through slow e-commerce, as well as relying on the expertise of the fast e-commerce channels like Swiggy and Zomato. To this end, over the last 2 months, we have already set up 80+ Keventers Ice Creamery dark stores across Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Lucknow and Bhubaneswar and have plans in place to steadily scale across the country in the next 6-9 months.”

The product has been priced at Rs. 99 for a 100 ml cup and at Rs. 329 for a 450 ml tub. While the brand is presently working towards the launch of its own e-commerce platform, by which it would be entering the Direct-to-Costumer (D2C) segment, its Ice Creamery brand has already obtained widespread coverage right across the cities stated above on platforms such as Swiggy and Zomato.

About the brand:
Keventers, creator of the iconic milkshake is India’s first very own ‘Made in India’ brand. Established in 1925 by Edward Keventer, Keventers then became famed for its milkshakes. Acquired by Ram Krishna Dalmia in 1940, it underwent great changes through the course of history. From supplying to the Indian army to becoming the preferred choice for Delhiites walking around Connaught Place. The brand was then revived in 2015 by Agastya Dalmia, Aman Arora and Sohrab Sitaram.
