We are searching for our new Waste Water Treatment Coordinator! Based at our Ballarat Plant you will be a key member of the plant operations group accountable for all waste water management tasks. You will be accountable for developing, documenting and improving resource use and waste management processes to provide a sustainable cost advantage and environmental compliance.
The role will require the implementation of lean principles, waste management and statistical methods to enable process characterization and control.
About the role
- Assist the Production Manager in creating sustainable cost initiatives to reduce operational cost
- Waste Water Treatment monitoring and testing as required
- Comply with all aspects of trade waste, stockfood and EPA agreements
- Document and complete all preventative checks
- Ensure completion of scheduled work orders in accordance with asset criticality list
- Ensure all aspects of the day to day operation of the plant are compliant with local authority, legislative and corporate requirements
About you
- Relevant tertiary qualifications with a minimum of one (1) year’s industry experience
- Experience in municipal waste water management, FMCG manufacturing or process engineering
- Ability to think holistically and strategically, and make ‘best for business’ decisions inside every day operations
- Experience as an analytical/creative thinker and designer with proven cause/effect or fault analysis, troubleshooting, mechanical aptitude and reliability engineering results
- Working knowledge of the key contributors to Total Production Cost (TPC)
