    Job Description

    Key Stakeholders:

    Internal: GM – Accounts & Planning, Manager Treasury, Manager Taxation, Accounts Officer, Sales & Marketing, HR, Legal, Admin, ISD

    External: Vendors & Suppliers

    Educational Qualification:

    Graduation in Commerce / Finance

    Experience:

    Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role

    Desired Competencies:

    Knowledge of SAP, MS Office

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Accounting & Compliance

    Check Accuracy of the physical bills with PO of BIL & BNZF(A&SP); identify discrepancies and send to relevant department/ person for resolution; Process bill through MIRO/FB60/F-48/F-53 and generate accounting entry; Check and adjust for advances & TDS and prepare cheques; Update Bank Station and generate A/C entry; Get Cheque/Bank Station authorization and Receive/Issue cheques received from Bank and send it to concerned departments to forward the same to Vendors; Accounting and disbursement of cash reimbursement of expenses for employees and admin department after adjusting any advances and IOUs and tallying with SAP A/c; preparation of TDS cheques for remittance to respective Govt. body; Uploading & Transmission of BIL & SSC Payments through Bank Station; Updation of daily disbursement summary of BIL & SSC Payments and forwarding to Treasury department for necessary funding at the day end

    Generate accounting entries in SAP and bank cheques related to Guest House Receipts, Refund of deposits from BSNL, Personal Calls, Travel receipts, Debit Note receipts of expenses of our Group Companies for both BIL and BNZF; reconcile receipts for Citibank account

    IN ORDER TO ensure timely and accurate disbursements of payments

    • Banking

    Create Provisions of expenses on a monthly basis of Admin/Legal/ISD/EO/Neville House, Mumbai; resolve discrepancies if any by referring to concerned department; pass necessary entries for short provisions; identify unmatched entries at the time of running F110 for ABN Amro and take appropriate action; investigate discrepancies and ensure matching of bank balance and bank statement; Check for exceptional items, send query to bank/respective department and take appropriate action; prepare BRS seek approval/ signature from departmental head/functional head for ABN AMRO EO Disb A/c IN ORDER TO ensure timely period closing and accurate accounting

    • Others

    Group Company Secretarial Compliance – Compile Legal Compliance Report of Directors’ interests in other group companies

    Review and Reporting – Provide monthly Group Contribution figures of Chairman and Directors to Accounts and Planning Department
