As Trade Area Manager you will play an important part in the continued sales development and brand building of the Nespresso brand in the Finnish market. You will be joining an enthusiastic team of 6 employees located across Finland and Sweden. You will report into our B2C Sales Manager Nespresso Sweden/Finland based in Stockholm. Our team culture is collaborative and supportive. Despite working at a distance, we are in regular contact with each other, taking initiative to reach out and spar on various topics. We enjoy a fast-paced environment and think individual sense of responsibility and empowerment is key.
This role is a 12 month maternity cover with start date asap. The position entails travel on average 4 of 5 working days. Remaining time is allocated to administrative tasks and planning. At times the position could entail work during weekends.
A brief snapshot of what you’ll be doing
In the position as Trade Area Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that our commercial strategies are implemented at our trade partners across Finland. In order to do so you will be expected to remain in tight dialogue with your customers, advising our Trade partners on visual merchandising, product exposure and warehousing. You are also responsible for educating and developing the in-store sales teams so that they in turn can give the end customer the best possible Nespresso experience while ensuring relevant campaign material is in place according to our brand guidelines. In doing so you will be supporting our Trade Partners to succeed in their sales of Nespresso products.
As Trade Area Manager you are also responsible for ensuring Nespresso is given the most attractive sales areas in each store so that Nespresso Corners, where all our products can be showcased optimally, can be created. Many of these Nespresso Corners are staffed with Nespresso’s Coffee Advisors who act as sales ambassadors for our coffee and machines. An important part of your job therefore, will be to ensure that they have the best conditions to serve our coffees and bring in sales to the stores. Essentially, the Nespresso Coffee advisors can be viewed as your team of sales people that on weekends will help you reach your sales goals. You will therefore work closely with the Nespresso Coffee Advisor’s project manager and help train and coach the Advisors on good sales techniques.

Your experience and qualifications
In order to be successful in this role we believe that you have already gained around 3 years previous experience in a sales position. You are used to travelling to stores and representing a business, and know that trust, presence, planning, actions and follow-up are your key success drivers. Nespresso work with a number of administrative tools for both planning and execution, prior experience of and understanding of the importance of CRM tools is therefore important.
In addition to Finnish you are also comfortable working in English both speaking and writing. You will also need to have a valid driver’s license.
