Job Summary
Supplier Manager (Corporate Services: Marketing & Communication, HR, Professional Services, Consulting Services, Travel)
Responsible for a small category of the purchasing category as part of the global category portfolio or at cluster with medium/small spend under them and no team. Responsible for the purchasing category strategy and execution. Execute sourcing and contracting based on global and cluster category strategies. Execute implementation of category strategy and supplier base plan.
We are looking for a strong, result driven leader, who can manage a broad business responsibility to support the South Asia, East Asia and Oceania (SAEA&O) and drive sustainable and cost competitive supplies for Corporate Services: Marketing & Communication, HR, Professional Services, Consulting Services, Travel.
What you will do
- Create & implement category strategy
- Lead implementation of the Global strategies
- Execute strategic sourcing
- Execute sourcing, contracting and supply base management
- Manage regional supplier base and implement Global contracts & regional contracts
- Ensure high leverage in Supplier selection, approval, negotiations and performance management.
- Apply total cost of ownership and demand management in selection and performance process.
- Engage with stakeholders to identify the most suitable supply solution for a given demand.
- Build Supplier Relationship and drive Partnership and collaboration at all levels.
- Drive accuracy of master data on the suppliers, contracts & materials
- Drive improvements & compliance of Supplier Management process.
We believe you have
- Degree in Supply Chain Management or Supplier Management or equivalent is preferable.
- Professional certification, e.g. CIPS or CPSM is preferable
- More than 8 years of relevant working experience in the area of category management
- Experience in managing functional teams across sites
- Knowledge in SAP and business processes would be preferred
- Focus on performance and delivery of accurate and timely results
- Management experience in a matrix organization in an international environment
