Overview
Main purpose:
Demand acceleration (DX) as a function is one of Pepsico’s key bets for future proofing market execution. It is a process of identifying, segmenting, executing and measuring scientifically – what are the key stores that would help in growing our category and our brands. It involves Horizon 2 thinking coupled with solid understanding of the business and ease with cutting and slicing data in order to “level up” our execution in the most critical stores whether in traditional or Modern trade.
Responsibilities
Acountabilities:
- Getting cities/ channels onto the platform
- Segmentation of stores
- Execution standards/ channel wise playbooks
- Tracking of stores
- Analysis, competitive information, changes to strategy
- Sector/ global team coordination /capability
- Role is an integral part of Sector DX function and will decide on DX strategy / coordination on capability and training
Qualifications
Key Capabilities / Competencies
- Minimum of 7-8 yrs in Sales/ Customer facing Sales OR franchise operating/ support roles
- Definitely needs to have worked with Go to market, customers, market execution and pricing/activation projects impacting sales and market share as output metrics
- High collaborative, analytical and problem solving skills
- Good quality Presentation and communication skills

- Flexibility of approaches and ways of solving problems when gridlocked with bottler/ other stakeholder points of view
- Ability to command a stature with bottler team which is often much more senior and experienced
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a matrixed structure of working with Sector/ global resources to land strategy, action areas and conduct reviews independently with cross functional Pepsico resources
- Highly individually motivated and having an internal locus of control to be able to thrive in an ambiguous environment
- Have genuine interest in building legacy and long term value for the company by building a muscle on DX capability that did not exist before
