Business Context and Main Purpose of the Job
Unilever Integrated Operations (UniOps) is a global business unit that manages the company’s shared business services, made up of HR Services, Finance Transactions, IT services, Information Management Services and Workplace Services.

Within the service catalogue of UniOps, the Commercial Experience organisation is responsible for the management and delivery of finance services globally, both through third-party outsourced providers (e.g. Infosys IBM, Accenture) and through in-sourced operations.
The Sourcing operations which is a part of the Commercial Experience team has responsibility of the Value delivery, efficiency unlock, Operational governance, Process & Controls in indirect procurement, operated and delivered through the Supplier Operations vertical.
This role will be accountable for sourcing operations for MBS and for driving procurement operations transformation in the areas of catalogue, preferred supplier utilization, data analytics and reporting.
The role will have global touch points with Market Procurement, Global Procurement and Process Excellence & Controls team.
Main Accountabilities
- Service manager – establish targets by PMU for key metrics: Cash, Savings, Catalogs, Preferred suppliers’ usage, compliance, for each of the Portfolios and work with third party service providers to establish strategy, governance and performance management processes to meet QoQ targets
- Undertake transformation initiatives in the areas of sourcing
- Relationship management with key customers in the Procurement organization
- Be the point of escalation for all internal stakeholders for the services that are being managed
- Liaise with internal IT, Procurement, Transformation organizations to ensure that the third -party service provider is updated about the organizational changes, align with leadership objectives periodically
- Drive external governance and ensure adherence to contracted commitments
- Drive change management within key stakeholder groups using the service
- Drive and deliver continuous improvement projects to reduce operations costs

Relevant Experience :
- Masters’ degree: MBA or similar qualification
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ managerial in finance/procurement/ supply chain.
- Procurement experience will be an added advantage.
