Service Technicians (remote with US wide travel)
We are looking for several Service Technicians that will be responsible for maintaining the performance of Tetra Pak packaging or processing equipment at our customers’ plants. We will provide you with a solid training on our products both on-site as well as remotely.
You can be home based anywhere in the US and will be travelling 90% of your time to our customer sites.
Tetra Pak is not considering applicants (Internal or External) who require International relocation to the United States.
What you will do
As a Service Engineer you will:
- Travel to customer sites in order to conduct preventive maintenance activities in line with global Tetra Pak standard procedures
- Execute installation tasks, including the assembly of complete systems
- Execute installation of relevant rebuilding/upgrade kits according to procedures and reinstate equipment into production environment according to defined expectations
We believe you have
- Bachelor’s Degree OR Technical Degree OR Certification in an Engineering or related discipline OR equivalent skills/experience
- Relevant work experience in manufacturing equipment installation, controls/automation, maintenance and/or service work
- Some understanding of automation systems such as Allen Bradley frequency drives, Profibus, Siemens PLC programming software or Rockwell RSLogix
- Strong mechanical aptitude
