Job summary
We are looking for an ambitious, self-driven, and highly motivated Service Engineer who will under supervision execute installation tasks and preventive maintenance tasks of a less complex nature.
You can be based preferably in Poznan, Warsaw, or North-East Poland.
You will be traveling approximately 80% of your time to our customer sites.
What will you do
- Participate in preparing customer site for installation events, assembling machines and conveyors
- Execute preventive maintenance activities in line with global Tetra Pak standard procedures and reinstate equipment into the production environment according to defined expectations
- Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve technical malfunctions and breakdowns. Conduct basic root cause analysis of the problem in order to ensure rapid resolution to appropriate colleagues
- Support product creation and life-cycle management
- Handle simple claims and provide technical support and guidance to escalated claims according to the claims processes, including root cause analysis
- Work in accordance with all safety regulations and requirements. Understand the importance of product quality and ensure a safe working culture in the team
- Act as an ambassador for Tetra Pak at all times, ensuring and promoting good working relationships with the customer and that TP’s reputation is sustained
- Reduce customers’ operational costs, ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
- Execute all work in accordance with Tetra Pak standards and requirements regarding product quality and food safety. Escalate all discovered food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory issues
We believe you have
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in automation or mechanical engineering – or equal experience in the field
- Preferably 1-2 years of work experience automation or mechanical maintenance
- Good knowledge of Siemens PLC (S7 and / or TIA) is an essential
- Knowledge of Rockwell PLC is a big advantage
- Experience in electrical and electronic systems, in general, is a big advantage
- Ability to repair pumps, valves on site
- Ability to read pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical diagrams
- Experience with processing systems is a big advantage
- Willing to travel extensively in Poland and occasionally to foreign countries
- Native level of Polish and a good command of English (writing/reporting skills are essential)
- Driving license
- Good command of computer skills
- Strong knowledge of MS Office
- Proven understanding of Customer Satisfaction and business vision
- Initiative and ability to work in a team, accountable attitude
- Customer-oriented and result-oriented attitude
- Flexibility in working outside regular working hours (evenings and weekends) based on customer needs
- Strong ability to learn, strong personal drive, and interest in developing self
