Main Job Purpose:
To drive the execution of sourcing strategy for tube feedstock (laminates) globally – this includes managing internal and external stakeholders while ensuring adherence to contractually awarded shares of business. Also, managing price forecasting, pricing updates and operations are the key activities.
Key Accountabilities:
Forecasting – Economic Assumptions
- Monitor changes in re Assumptions sin market and prepare economic assumption forecast for tube feedstock for light and full cycle forecasts
- Analyse the impact of economic assumptions for different regions and prepare insights for regional format buyers, packaging / materials leadership team
- Track sustainability investments (MLP and PCR) by taking inputs from regional format buyers
- Track savings and cash projects and ensure value is captured in internal reporting systems
- Ensure feedstock impact in NMCI forecast bridge is in line with expectations
Pricing Proposals
- Timely collection of quarterly price change proposals from all suppliers
- Check price change proposals are in line with negotiated terms, market indices, forecast and flag any deviations
- Benchmark supplier ocean freight vs internal and external benchmarks
- Post approval, share prices with regional format buyers
- Tracking and regular benchmarking of prices for items x demand locations x INCO Terms x Payment Terms to find saving and cash opportunities
Operations – Maintain engagement with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- First point of contact for any service or quality challenges – engage with suppliers and format buyers to understand and resolve the challenges
- First point of contact for any internal data requests
- Collect and track shipment / sales data from suppliers + collect good receipt / consumption data from regional format buyers (via tube convertors)
- Track share of business and flag any deviations
- Support the Plastic Feedstock Team in one or more team initiates as development goal
Professional Skills:
- University degree and Supply Chain exposure is preferred.

Experience Required:
- At least 3 years’ experience
- Procurement, Supply Chain, Packaging experience preferred
- Understanding of FMCG industry / Packaging Industry
