Job Responsibilities:
- Provide the network services to all office, factories, DC and 2P/3P sites.
- Supports in driving business changes and improvements through networks.
- During initial set up of the new IT Landscape, the role will be focused on service acceptance as solutions are rolled out and addressing any issues.
- Monitor and report on the India Network landscape; ensure the smooth transition and planning of new capabilities; and drive continuous improvement and innovation in IT services and how they are managed.
- End to end IT support to Business and partnering the business with “customer first” approach.
- Able to lead requirement gathering discussions with business partners.
- Manage and drive the internal IT team.
- Liaison with IT support team and provide seamless support to all Units related to network issues.
- Proactively follows up with the internal team to manage and track the project efficiently in the defined budgets and timeline.
- Able to plan for the projects and liaise with business and end users for rollout the projects.
- Manages budgets for projects and resources.
- Acts as a contact and escalation point for all Units issues and queries related to Network and reports to concerned team and LM before any further escalation.
- Perform gap analysis and recommend solutions during requirement gathering with business.
- Fulfil the role of a subject matter expert to understand and facilitate the business requirements.
- Maintain a good working relation with Business partners.
- Able to take initiative to perform pre-requisites for all the project with business partners and IT team.
Skill Set:
- Experience in managing network infrastructure.
- Degree in technology-related field, or equivalent work- or education-related experience.
- A clear external lens on IT development and trends that can support the Roadmap for IT Infrastructure.
- Practical working knowledge of the following protocols and technologies – MPLS, DMPVN.
- Practical working knowledge WAN/SD LAN, Switches, Routers etc.
- Practical working knowledge of Network.
- Experience of working in challenging environments typically seen across sites.
- Asset management including device provisioning, Automation and management.
- Good understanding of environmental challenges and how they need to be taken into account and understood.
- Having a good exposure of Project Management.
- Good hold on stakeholder management.
- Good command over spoken and written communication.
- Organizational and presentation skills.
- Interpersonal and managerial skills.
