Sales Support Specialist

As Sales Supoort Specialist based in Chakan(Pune), you will be responsible for leading the development and deployment of the projects in a category or cross categories and drive successful implementation of the local and global product portfolio across their assigned Markets including financial targets and profitability.

Furthermore, you will act as SME for the category, like quoting category advanced products that require deep technical, commercial, and legal knowledge.

What you will do

  • Lead and implement solutions across the region for an entire business category listed in the 3-Year Plan, securing financial targets and execution of the strategy. Drive deployment plans and securing suitable resources in place to execute projects and launch new products
  • Lead the deployment of projects in a business category, develop Market Readiness Plan, secure that promotional and sales materials and pricing strategy are available with clear value proposition, assure the overall performance of the service product is superior than the competitors and guarantee that the product is being deployed according to the customer segmentation.
  • Together with regional and the Global team, develop local projects and fully support the development of global projects by participating directly in the process, executing pilots in the Custer and identifying new business opportunities to expand the service portfolio
  • Responsible for providing technical and financial expertise in quoting advanced category products that require deep knowledge and for securing that legal and commercial policies are being followed in the quotations. Secure a clear alignment with the involved stakeholders, like delivery organizations and suppliers, to flawlessly implement the offered solution

Who you are

We believe you have

  • A full Time Engineering degree or equivalent from a reputed Institute
  • minimum 6 plus years experience in portfolio management, product management, project execution, technical sales working in a big FMCG MNC.
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written, is a must
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative and cross-team capacity with internal stakeholders
  • Proven ability to work effectively with senior leadership, as well as teams and vendors in a cross-functional, multi-national and multi-cultural environment, often with virtual teams
  • Good communications and organization skills
  • Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
