About the Product team:
The product team at grofers builds a deep understanding of customer problems and needs and then finds effective solutions for them. This team collaborates with all the stakeholders at Grofers to provide a delightful experience to our customers. The team achieves this through deep understanding of our users, business, data, design and engineering knowledge.
About the role
We are looking for a rockstar Product Manager who has the right mix of passion and imagination to build products for current and future customer needs. As a PM at Grofers you will be the owner of the product(s) you are responsible for. The right person for this role will be naturally curious, have incredible attention to detail, be at home seeing the big picture – while also diving deep into data, and have sound (trained) judgement, and be able to effectively manage multiple stakeholders without creating loads or dependencies.
What you will do:
- Lead product development teams at Grofers
- Find ways to deeply understand the market and evolving user behavior, so you can ideate on new products and iterate on existing ones
- Work closely with product design, business, product development and product marketing teams to develop and successfully launch new products
- Effectively articulate product requirements in line with business objectives, and manage product planning and timelines
- Own the entire product development cycle – and communicate and collaborate between teams
- Work closely with the leadership team to iterate on the overall Grofers product strategy
- Collaborate with the data and engineering team to automate current processes and workflows keeping 10x scale in mind
Job Requirement
What you need:
- Prior product shipping experience – 5+ years of experience in shipping high quality and scalable consumer internet products
- Excellent (verbal and written) communication skills – ability to converse seamlessly and clearly with tech and business
- Leadership skills – gauged basis a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in a highly dynamic environment
- Data-driven approach to problem-solving – you must be obsessed with data and know-how to share it in a manner that makes sense to all stakeholders
- A customer-first approach – you must always think customer first and be absolutely unwilling to make compromises on customer experience
- Have a bias for action with a focus on measurable results – shipping high-quality releases, taking feedback from users, applying learnings, and refining the product. Ship, iterate, rinse, repeat
- Outstanding project and time management skills
- Strong technical knowledge – preferably with a technical BE/B.Tech degree or relevant experience in a high growth tech company or startup
