Within UniOps, the Finance and Procurement Operations has always been a pioneering organisation – providing financial services across Unilever such as Record to Report (R2R), Procure to Pay (P2P), Global Control Service Centre (GCSC), Supply Chain Finance Services (SCFS), Zero Based Budgeting (ZBB), and Treasury, Parent & Holding Controls (TRC).
This role is part of Record to Report – Management reporting.
Purpose of the job
In Unilever we have 4 different SAP platforms across the globe, each having their specifics and differences. Your role will be to co-lead, re-imagine, continuously enhance and own the Management Reporting processes with the ambition to achieve a best in class and future fit record to report organization.
Key Accountabilities:
- Design Global Process Models (GPM) for end-to-end Management Reporting Processes
- Set up and run the governance model to ensure compliance to GPM
- Identify and address deviations to GPM to ensure compliance
- Lead the yearly SCOA reporting changes project end-to-end to ensure implementation
- Identify efficiency improvement and cost optimization opportunities
- Drive the efficiency and cost optimisation programmes with clear benefit tracking
- Drive global transformation projects end-to-end – Conceptualization, Business Case, Design, Implementation and tracking of benefits
- Partner with Peers in Global Design to cover cross workstream processes end-to-end
- Lead Internal UniOps and business stakeholder Change management, Trainings and Communication
- Partnering with Management Reporting Operations teams to ensure all structural issues identified during the MEC are addressed on an ongoing basis
- Responsible for Operational execution of Controls, Resolve GRC exceptions and CHI Alerts and Central mgmt. of Audit requirements and compliance
Key Skills
- Strong Management Reporting and financial controls (Reporting, Accounting) knowledge
- SAP COPA module knowledge
- Strong project, change management and leadership skills
- Ability to translate R2R vision and strategy into operational excellence projects and design thinking

Desired Experience
- 10+ years of professional experience, including team leadership and change management
- Strong Finance Manager – A Chartered Accountant/ICWA/MBA in Finance with broad experience and understanding of Management Reporting processes
- Experience in regional / global roles interacting virtually with stakeholders across multiple locations is preferable
