About the role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented payroll technology partner to join our team and play a key role in transforming our payroll processes into digital solutions. You will work closely with the HR, PEX teams at our global locations to understand their needs and challenges, and then collaborate with the technology teams within HR IT and broader Unilever IT to design and implement innovative digital solutions that streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Partnering.
- First point of contact for Global and regional HR team and UL vendors for new demands, change request or any support requirement.
- Plans projects that address business needs, and assess fit of new applications and vendors.
- Support all payroll integrations for any new demand, change request or trouble shooting.
- Liaises with correct team to address issues raised by HR or IT.
- Impact Assessment on payroll and rewards for any changes in Workday or any related application.
- Liaises between HR and IT teams and supports HR business during project.
- Ensures requirements and test plans are signed off in projects.
- Ensures requirements by HR and IT are understood by both parties before any change or project.
- Takes up IT project management role if there is no dedicated project manager in projects.
- Works with HR team for user acceptance testing and ensure stakeholders are ready for go-live.
Transformation
- Works on various KRAs for global payroll transformation program.
- Assess payroll processes and suggests automation opportunities.
- Ensures that new vendors meet local and global Unilever standards and strategy.
- Supports business in vendor transitions.
- Implements new payroll integration projects between payroll and various systems such as Workday, SAP, Time Tracking systems, and Banks.
- Implements Compensation, Absence projects in Workday.
Compliance
- Works with Data Privacy Team, Vendor Risk Management team and Cybersecurity team to ensure that new projects meet company standards.
- Works with Enterprise Architecture to ensure that new projects are aligned with global technology strategy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Overall 7+ years of experience with 4+ years of experience in a similar payroll technology partner role.
- Strong understanding of payroll, reward and benefits processes.
- Knowledge of HR data Integration tools and processes..
- Strong technical skills, including experience with various payroll applications such as Workday.
- Knowledge of project delivery methodologies such as agile and waterfall.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adapt and learn quickly to meet challenges.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a global diverse team.
