- The Master Planner is responsible for generating the Master Plan, Monthly and Weekly Production Plan and set the overall production priorities to meet customer demand, forecasts, finished goods inventory and production line efficiency goals.
- He / she leads the production planning and scheduling activities to ensure continuity of supply to the bottlers.
- Other key activities include collaborative planning, forecasting and replenishment activities with the bottling system.
- The Master Planner is a key member of the CPS Indonesia plant, who sets the priorities for production to ensure optimal production and continuous supply / fulfilment to the regions.
- Drives Inventory optimization for CPS Indonesia to a sustainable level – providing sufficient flexibility to market demand fluctuations, yet optimize inventory level and warehouse storage.
- Lead the monthly Materials Review Board (MRB) activities to reduce write-off for both CPS and BU.
- Jointly implement inventory control programs with the cross functional teams – Warehouse, Production, QA and Finance to achieve inventory targets and compliance with our Quality system
- Develop and drives Inventory KPI and improvement initiatives.
Develops the Master Plan
- Establish the master plan and weekly production plan for the company by converting demand (forecast, customer orders, customer schedules, commercialization timeline etc) into a feasible production plan to ensure matched sets of materials and capacities are available to meet the needs of customers in a cost-effective and production efficient manner. Ensure production plan and manufacturing schedules covers immediate and future demand.
- Revisit and revise plan (if necessary) to incorporate changes either internally or externally driven (eg, changes in customer prioritizes). Drive and communicate the plans to all functions responsible for execution.
- Identify, negotiate and drive resolution of any conflicts related to material availability, capacity and order promise integrity.
- Maintain production stability, optimum inventory levels and resource utilization per the business rules, while meeting the needs of the customers.
- Support supply point optimization initiatives for the region.
Collaborative planning, forecast and replenishment
- Lead in the collaborative planning, forecast and replenishment activities with the bottling system. It encompasses production scheduling and finished goods inventory management.
Maintenance of Planning System / tools / processes
- Ownership of MRP measure
- Support the analysis, development and implementation of new planning system / process, if required.
- Conduct and support ad hoc business analysis and Management Reviews.
- Drive and replicate supply chain operational excellence and best practices.
Support Business Planning
- Generate the annual production plan and BCP requirement
- support long range planning activities.
Inventory review
Lead the Materials Review Board activities to continuously ensure inventory related KPIs are within targets and min write-off for both CPS and OU This role involves driving the cross functional team (CS, Purchasing, Warehouse, Production, Finance, Engineering, Planning, Commercialization, QA and 3PL) to ensure disposition plans and improvement initiatives are in-place and executed. Present MRB status to the Leadership team on a monthly basis.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years experience in multinational organization’s supply chain management, preference given to candidates with manufacturing background.
- Demonstrated ability of developing production plans, taking into consideration company’s objectives, business rules and current challenges / constraints.
- Informal leadership skills in influencing cross functional teams.
- Good working knowledge of SAP MM and PP module.
- Knowledge of APO would be an advantage.
- University Degree in Business Administration/Industrial Engineering
- Supply Chain post-graduate studies or APICS certification preferred
- MRPII or ERP knowledge is required.
- Quality systems ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 experience would be considered an advantage.
- Food/ beverage processing or pharmaceutical manufacturing SC experience.
- Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) experience is required.
- SAP experience would be considered as an advantage.
- Verbal and written English fluency is required.
