    Job Description

    First and foremost, the perfect fit for our Marketing Manager will have a passion for strategically developing the brand and story of WeldWerks Brewing.     The perfect fit for us will go the extra mile in both ability and desire. More than a Marketing Manager, we are looking for a trusted team member that can contribute to our long term success. Our ideal candidate will be self-starting and self-directing, with an eye towards constantly improving the systems upon which our marketing strategies rest. From analyzing sales data to help steer decisions, to identifying industry trends and crafting sustainable marketing/sales strategies, we are looking for a dynamic person that is interested in building our brewery to be the best it can be!

    The Marketing Manager manages all aspects of marketing goals and strategies for the brewery. We invest a ton of time, training and education in our leaders – and we expect the leaders to do the same with their teams. The Marketing Manager is responsible for the professional growth of their team members through honesty, vulnerability, communication and education.

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Lead the development, implementation, and continual improvement of a holistic marketing program, with a goal of building brand awareness and driving sales
    • Manage all graphic design and branding efforts, including design, merchandising, POS, and social media
    • Manage all aspects of our social media strategy and presence, including:
    • Execution of weekly Facebook/Instagram posts, ads/boosted content, and live content
    • Forward planning of content calendar to ensure proper communication and support of key events and releases
    • Ensuring all user-generated social media communications – post comments, FB/IG DM’s, reviews on Google/Yelp/Trip Advisor/etc. – are responded to in an effective and timely manner, consistent with the WeldWerks brand identity and voice
    • Provide monthly analysis on all relevant social media data and key metrics
    • Manage all digital content planning and execution, including:
    • Oversight and management of website architecture and content
    • Oversight and further development of all photography-based content, which may include direct execution
    • Provide feedback on labels, social media graphics, and other digital assets as needed
      Assist with design, execution, and promotion of external events and brand partnerships, to help drive traffic and bolster brand image
    • Manage internal communications of all marketing-related efforts, including upcoming releases, events/festivals, brand partnerships, activations, etc.
    • Create goodwill via authentic relationships within the beer industry and all those that support it, with specific aim of growing our network and ability to influence across different industries

    Job Specification:

    Skill and Knowledge:

    • Minimum 2 years experience in marketing, management or public relations.
    • Advanced skill in crafting holistic strategies to meet specific goals.
    • Advanced skill in identifying opportunities for story-telling and creating content in response.
    • Advanced skill in seeing the big picture and how it affects each individual piece of the whole.
    • Advanced knowledge of and a passion for craft beer and the brewing industry (Cicerone certification a plus).
    • Advanced skill in Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Untappd and Google Apps systems.
    • Creative ability to analyze sales and production data to help advise on trends and projections.
    • Creative ability to develop and maintain marketing materials across a broad spectrum of needs, including merchandise, POS, signage and sales collateral.
    • Creative ability to identify and execute local sponsorships, events and donation opportunities.
    • Strong palate and some training in sensory evaluation a plus.
    • Strong existing relationships within the beer industry a plus.

    Supervision:

    • Uses independent action in setting objectives and deciding how to proceed
    • Duties are given in the form of broad goals or areas of responsibility
    • Works with senior management to enact strategies for growth?
    • Hours, Travel and Physical Requirements:
    • Clean Motor Vehicle Registration (MVR)
    • Frequently lift up to 70 pounds
    • Work in a standing position for long periods of time
    • Work weekends, evenings and events (local and regional)
    • Must be 21 years old
