Roles and Responsibilities
Looking for a channel lead, who can lead the business into standalone modern trade outlets for contract manufacturing – private labelling, and bulk supplies business.
Candidate needs to market service offerings to standalone supermarkets and small regional retail chains, who need help in sourcing staples and also having it packed and marketed in their own brands. Stores of this nature, typically may need assistance in deciding their product assortment, getting information about product variants, and also improving the way they brand their products. This in addition to the sourcing, and packaging requirements. There are additional services that can be offered to these stores also.
The organization has state of the art grading and packaging units, focussed on dry staples, with necessary certifications to sell not just in India, but across the globe also.
Candidate needs to have a flair for building customer relationships with owners of supermarkets and become a thought partner to them to help improve their business in dry staples.He should be able to co-create win – win solutions for them. Candidate should be willing to travel across Bengaluru, interact with stores, and also be able to shape service offering with customer requirements and think solutions.
Candidate should be able to work with sourcing and production team, to ensure right specifications and competitive offering is given to the customer. Knowledge of packaging and some experience of how a modern trade outlet operates will be a plus.
Candidate should
- have the ability to search for new client leads, able to generate new leads to find qualified customers. Who have expressed interest in service rendered by the company.
- have capacity to conduct market research (analyse competitors, efficiency of sales strategies, etc.).
- acquire targeted business clients by actively optimizing pipelines and sourcing new leads until they are engaged.
- Manage the sales pipeline and source leads continuously.

Looking for self-driven, achievement oriented, passionate about solutioning, sales & customer service professionals, who are interested in shaping the way food sector operates in the country.
Candidate is likely to be placed in Bengaluru. He should be willing to travel extensively within the city.
Experience of min 5 – 10 years in customer engagement / key account management roles, dealing with standalone retailers. They should have managed a team of sales persons.

Desired Candidate Profile
10 – 15 years of total experience.
Preferably and MBA graduate

Good communication skills is must
Should have MS Office working knowledge
