Job Summary
We are looking for experienced Maintenance Engineer who can perform corrective, preventive and predictable maintenance services and troubleshooting assistance over food processing and packaging equipment and/or complete lines. You will also be involved in the installation and commissioning of processing equipment and provide technical training to our customers. The role will include long term and short-term assignments, and last-minute service calls on all Tetra Pak equipment and components.
This role will be individual contributor and will report into our Service Delivery Manager based in Jakarta, Indonesia
What you will do
As our Maintenance Engineer you will:
- Act as an ambassador for Tetra Pak at all times, ensuring and promoting good working relationships with the customer and ensure that Tetra Pak’s reputation is sustained
- Provide technical reports and suitable recommendations in order to ensure customer reliability about Tetra Pak’s services.
- Travel to customer sites in order to:
- Conduct preventive maintenance activities in line with global Tetra Pak standard procedures and reinstate equipment into production environment according to defined expectations
- Execute installation tasks, including the assembly of complete batching and processing systems
- Execute installation of relevant rebuilding/upgrade kits according to procedures and reinstate equipment into production environment according to defined expectations
- Execute timely reporting of all discovered Technical Issues
- Conduct on-site/off-site Operator and Mechanical training for internal Tetra Pak and customer personnel
- Maintain Issue resolution database
- Perform troubleshooting and fault finding services onsite and by phone
- Install set-up and support through remote support when off-site
- Regular time entry, service reporting and e-mail correspondence
- Emergency phone support and on-demand service for the 24-hour support line on a rotational basis
- Obtain and maintain key certifications on key components and modules
We believe you have
- Bachelor’s Degree, Technical Degree or Certification in an Engineering or related discipline or equivalent skills and experience
- 5 years of relevant work experience in manufacturing equipment installation, controls/automation, maintenance and/or service work
- Ideally some experience in the food processing / dairy industry
- Ability to read and understand process flow diagrams and schematics
- Good understanding of automation systems such as Allen Bradley frequency drives, Profibus, Siemens PLC programming software, Rockwell RSLogix 5, 500, 5000 PLC programming software, Intouch (WonderWare), Device Net, ABB, Danfoss frequency drives or similar
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to handle multiple stakeholders with a customer focused mindset
- A commitment to a strong quality culture
- A commitment to a strong health and safety culture
- A fluent level of writing and speaking Thai and good command in English
- A valid driver’s license
