The position is based in High Wycombe, UK.
What You Will Do
The purpose of the position is to understand customer needs and provide high level of support for specifying Key Components as well as design and deliver the projects on time and within the budget.
As Key Component Sales Engineer your responsibilities will include:
- To understand customers’ needs and creating key component quotations including necessary technical and commercial specifications.
- Deliver key component projects to agreed budgets and time scales
- Enforce company’s safety policy and procedures
- Occasionally participate in site activities including commissioning and supervision
- Being in daily contact with the suppliers and taking care of pricing
- Support sales and marketing activities
- Support of service and project departments for internal equipment specification and pricing
Who You Are
We believe you have:
- Completed your B.Sc. level education in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering or Food Technology.
- 1-2 years of experience preferably from liquid food processing, pharmaceutical processing or project engineering experience in the Oil and Gas industry also acceptable.
- Preferably a background of sizing food and beverage equipment or the ability to learn.
- You have gained some experience in process design.
- You have mechanical design (preferred AutoCAD) and Ms Excel skills and have strong understanding of technical documentation.
- Extensive working experience with tanks and piping systems.
- A good command of English (written and oral)
- You are eligible to work in the UK
