He will be responsible for the development and execution of the Self-Service Channel customer portfolio in order to achieve the volumes, billing, investment control and market share that are established as objectives in this sales area.
He will be responsible for sales of a multidisciplinary team that must define the most convenient route to the market, choose the most qualified operators for each geographical area, define the commercial policy to ensure the growth and development of this channel.
A day in the life of…
• Develop a profitable business for both parties, which guarantees the achievement of the desired volumes, of the customer contribution.
• Persistence in reaching the channel’s sales targets (tons, net sales, growth, and market share).
• Generation of plans in conjunction with the distributor in order to achieve sell-out (real sale) in line with the established targets.
• Foster commercial relationships, creating specific business plans for customers A that guarantee alignment and collaborative work between the customer and Purina.
• Lead performance reviews with self-service channel distributors to discuss business evolution, consumer trends, identify key market patterns that allow you to suggest changes in the strategy to capture additional business opportunities. Promote the search for information for decision-making
• Guarantee the consistent and rational application of the Canal’s commercial policies.
• Actively visit operators and points of sale (supermarkets, kiosks, warehouses) in order to achieve a comprehensive understanding of the needs of distributors and the competitive market situation
• Ensure implementation of brand strategies for each point format selling
• Indirectly supervise the commercial team of the distributor so that the plans drawn up to the market are suitably downloaded.
• Manage the clients’ current accounts, generating the corresponding monitoring, alerts and controls for the development of transparent management.
What will make you successful
• Preferably be a graduate of Business Administration, Marketing, Industrial Engineering or other related careers
• Have experience in commercial positions
• Have a good level of Excel
• Be able to develop a presentation and argumentation both to the external interlocutor (owner of the distributor, sales force ) as an internal (multidisciplinary team, ManCom, etc)
