An exciting opportunity exists for a Key Account Manager with drive and initiative to join our Purina Sales Team. This unique role offers plenty of exposure to Sales management within a leading, global FMCG. Not to mention a passionate, collaborative team and a pet-friendly office!
Your Opportunity
Reporting into the Customer Business Manager, this role is responsible for iconic and significant brands such as: Tux, Friskies, Fancy Feast, Purina ONE and Beneful. These brands are important to our customers and our consumers alike – and as a result we are seeking a candidate with key account account experience, who can add value to the ongoing development of our business within the Impulse channel, and WWNZ .
This role will be responsible for the management of our Impulse channel and KAM support on the WWNZ business. Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining and enhancing customer relationship,
- Delivering strong levels of growth through key marketing activities and promotional efficiencies,
- Managing internal stakeholder relations to drive high level execution
About You
You must have proven abilities in identifying and negotiating new business opportunities and you must be able to demonstrate your ability to build long-term business relationships – both internally and externally. You will also have expertise in Excel and Aztec / Nielsen. To compliment your skills in these areas,you’ll receive a great amount of support from the wider sales and marketing teams, category management and field sales team.
This role will suit someone who is efficient and excellent at time management, enjoys working across multiple functions, who thrives in a highly competitive commercial environment and possesses well developed planning and analytical skills as well as a passion to win.
