Responsibilities
Main Purpose of the role
Clarity PPM is an application used by Pepsico to support project and portfolio management. The user base is primarily IT with some business team from the Global S&T organization, around 6,000 users globally.
The resource will be part of the Clarity PPM DevSecOps team of 6 resources.
Primarily responsibilities:
– Collaborate with the PPM team and key stakeholders to develop solutions to user needs (about 75% of the role’s time)
– Provide support for end user questions and issues; fix/resolve user issues as needed (about 25% of the role’s time)
Requires moderate supervision / moderate level of decision-making autonomy
Accountabilities
– Design process and application solutions for new features/functionality as identified by the Product Owner/Manager
– Develop, test, and deploy solutions in Clarity as identified by the Product Owner/Manager
– Collaborate with PPM team and key stakeholders on enhancements and new processes
– Support Clarity end users with questions and issues
– Analyze and resolve application defects and other issues
– Identify improvement opportunities for team and end user processes
Qualifications
Years of Experience
• 4+ years of IT experience, preferably developing solutions in packaged software applications
• 2+ years experience with SQL
• 3+ years experience developing with Clarity PPM, including GEL scripting
• Experience with the SAFe/agile methodology preferred
• Experience working with Jaspersoft reports preferred
Mandatory Technical Skills
– Knowledge and experience with SQL, report development, and GEL scripting (or a similar scripting language)
– Ability to configure Clarity PPM
– Ability to learn new technologies/software, and processes quickly (i.e. an active learner)
Mandatory Non Technical skills
– Bachelor’s degree in a computer related major
– Ability to work independently on tasks and escalate to management as needed
– Ability to turn business requests and issues into technical solutions, to solve complex user needs
– Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with other technical resources and end users
– Ability to collaborate with a team on large, complex solutions
– Ability to analyze and resolve issues
