UniOps – Enterprise Operations is a part of Unilever IT. It is responsible for IT Innovation, IT Solutions Implementation, IT Run & Support for all the Enterprise Applications in core business functions like Supply Chain, Finance, Sales.
– IT Innovation: Design, Delivery & Program ownership of IT Solutions, driven by SMEs.
– IT Platforms: The Total Ownership of the IT landscapes – Instances, both Global & Regional.
– Application Management: Owning the Run & Maintain for applications, including User Support.

The UniOps organisation is rapidly deploying the new Integrated Operations (iOps) model consistently across the globe. The transformational new way of working for all of Unilever’s markets based around the Run, Power, grow principle will see iOps as the operational engine for sustainably “Running” the business into the future.
With three lead objectives (Enhance User Experience, Unlock value and Improve Efficiency, Capital and Controls) the iOps transformation both during implementation and then in the future-state “run” organisation will rely on excellent execution of transforming current ways of working across all pillars (process, technology and organisation) as we transition work and then continuously improving the performance management of day-to-day delivery at scale in partnership with our 3rd-party delivery-partners.
The acceleration of iOps has bought forward the opportunity for this exciting role to lead the Performance, Analytics and Insights work for activities transitioning to our Partners.
Main purpose of job:
This is an exciting opportunity to play an IT design and delivery role in the iOps transformation and to ensure the successful roll out of Supply chain Planning capabilities across all countries in the PMU. The successful individual will:
- Be the focal point of tool rollout in the markets across the supply chain planning processes.
- Be the custodian of end-to-end project IT design & delivery.Ensure project journey as per iOps Runway
- Ensure cross-functional coordination between various parts of the project team and vendors.
- Ensure Project SLA and KPIs delivery.
- Accountable for a robust and fully functioning governance model ensuring IT delivery.
- Serve as Technical Plan Expert capable of diving deep into the systems & process to identify, highlight and correct Planning inefficiencies.
Key accountabilities & Requirements:
IT Champion in Supply Chain Planning domain
- Partner with Market Supply Chain and Category leadership teams, for design, delivery & maintenance of Planning technologies.
- Partner with Global PACE Leadership and i-Ops transformation programs.
- Agile delivery of Planning tools with E2E integration.
- Establish a strong external orientation & industry perspective on the latest trends in planning processes and integrated planning to help shape the transformation agenda.
- Drive right implementations across the markets, embed right behaviors and adoption leading to efficiency & quality outcomes.
- Drive adoption, scale and value realization for the investments made in technology.
- Continuously evolve solution stack in harmony with overall Digital Supply Chain strategy.
Platform Management
- Drive resilient platform operations and work with product & partner teams for 99.99% uptime.
- Ensure 100% adherence across landscape including Security compliance, KEC, performance & service operations.
- Drive projects on platform being delivered through the CoE model.
- Continuously enhance & automate platform management operations.
- Manage escalation and drive resolution on critical issues.
- Continuously seek opportunities to drive reduction on IT costs.
Must-Haves
- Proven experience in business processes, business partnering & working with senior stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of IT Operations and resilience, experience of the same preferable.
- Experience in delivering E2E IT programs, driving adoption and value realization.
- Understanding of technology, e2e integration across technology suite and its impact in transforming Unilever organization.
- Appreciation of Planning processes in CPG Domain – Demand, Supply & Distribution planning, Inventory management.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Good Analytical & Problem solving Skills.
- Broad understanding of new technologies areas and its impact in the CPG industry.
- Experience with implementation of analytics solutions with the help of vendor partners.
- Strong communications skills.
- Demonstrated Agile mindset and capabilities.
- Strong English language skills written and spoken.
Desirables
- Successful history of Business Partnering within or to a Country/Function & references.
- Proven large scale project management capabilities with external service vendors.
- Demonstrable capabilities in creating and managing strong senior relationships, including excellent presentation, influencing and communication skills.
- Complex project management & conflict management experience.
- Team management & mentoring experience – UL and vendor partners.
- 4-7years of work experience with key requirements listed.
- Relevant IT, MBA, Supply chain academic background.
