Role Description
The Coca-Cola Company provides a number of products and services. The main function of the Coca-Cola company is to provide market the various Coca-Cola brands to the consumer and to provide Product (Concentrate), and Supporting services such as Technical, Marketing, Franchise Management to independent bottlers. It is the responsibility of the independent bottler to who make, sell and distribute the product to their retail customers across many channels.
This role primarily supports the marketing functions in both the Coca-Cola India and South West Asia Operating Unit and indirectly to Independent India and South West Asia Bottlers. In order to do this the candidate will need provide expertise in Digital Marketing Technology working with Corporate IT, Marketing, Agencies and External Vendors to drive technical excellence in Coca-Cola Digital Marketing through best in class delivery leveraging Coca-Cola’s global platforms and partnerships.
There are a significant number of technologies invested in by The Coca-Cola Company within the digital marketing space. It is a requirement of this role to have a good general understanding of each technology and to provide expertise in few.
Whilst this is a technical role it is vital that the individual has sound business knowledge of FMCG across Commercial and Marketing functions and can clearly understand the value chain within the Coca-Cola system.
The role will be required to provide business account management for relevant Service Management including;
- Work closely with Marketers, vendors and other functions to define the portfolio and lead the implementation of marketing platforms in a way that the company achieves its growth objectives
- Managing day-to-day client engagement with India and South West Asia OU Marketing, PAC and assigned business projects and provides with consultation form IT and Business Process improvement.
- Drive positive outcomes for critical IT services in assigned area/region, and responsible for service delivery in assigned business area.
- Depending on resource allocation status for OU business priority, may sometimes need to take a role for client engagement in other business functions beyond Marketing and PAC.
This role reports directly into the Asia Pacific IT Marketing Technology Leader and must work closely with the India and South West Asia Operating Unit IT Lead.
Role Responsibilities
Excellence in Digital Marketing Technologies including
- Modern martech & adtech platforms (e.g. marketing automations clouds esp Adobe Suite, CDP, DMPs,)

- Roadmaps and plans establishing a clear portfolio of projects.

- Project Management (Prince 2, PMBOK)
- Testing Services (Unit, System, System Integration, Performance and Penetration)
- Implementation Planning and Execution and Backout
- Change Management
- Risk \ Issue Management
- Compliance with KO Information Security guideline and IT governance/process
Collaboration and Influencing
- Participate In online collaboration with other associates globally
- Build a strong network of peers across the globe sharing ideas across markets
- Work with vendors and agencies to bring the best solutions to market
- Identify new trends globally and within the market to keep The Coca-Cola Company ahead of the game.
- Influence the solution outcome to drive ROI in existing capabilities.
Standardization and Simplification
- Guide the marketing and PAC functions in the use of Global Platforms to maximize ROI on technology investments
- Manage the Lifecycle of IT assets to reduce down operating costs of technology
Vendor Management \ BAU
- Manage Service Level Agreements with Vendors including budget, risk and time.
- Work with Legal and Procurement to establish contracts and agreements with vendors.
Accountabilities
The role is primarily accountable for;
- Aligning Marketing \ PAC business plans with IT Roadmap
- The delivery of projects on time, in full and on budget.
- The reuse of Global Platforms to drive ROI on existing investments
Education \ Qualifications
- Degree of Masters on Information Technology \ Marketing.
- Total 5 – 9 years experience
- 2-3+ years in Consumer Marketing
- 2-3+ years in FMCG
