JOB PURPOSE:
We’re looking for a highly motivated Tax Reporting & Compliance Manager who can lead a team to deliver high quality inputs into our tax reporting and compliance processes, across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
Why This Role Matters:
You´ll be responsible for leading the Tax Reporting and Compliance processes for multiple countries in Magnum Ice Cream. This role offers high level of exposure to different Tax and Finance Teams in the business, as well as other Global Business Services teams, so offering a wide range of interactions with different stakeholders in the business. The main areas of Tax responsibility will be VAT/GST, withholding taxes, corporate income taxes, transfer pricing and group tax reporting.
You will be expected to focus on reporting and compliance for legal entities across our four Business Groups: Americas, Europe/ANZ, METSA (Middle East, Turkey & South Asia) or Asia.

14 Tax Reporting & Compliance Analysts
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead your team in the preparation for the tax returns (involving data preparation and analysis) ; end to end process management with a focus on data hygiene (master data and transactional data)
- Coordinate with Finance & Tax Teams for all taxes and reporting
- Coordinate with our third party outsource provider (providing information and tracking progress against the defined process)
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with controls in accordance with our controls framework
- Ensure all tax related payments to government / tax authorities are done as per the timelines in respective countries.
- Closely work with global tax teams & Outsourced Service Provider regarding latest changes/amendments in various direct tax laws across the world.
- Provide clarification on the tax data provided to relevant stakeholders.
- Support in country tax audits by providing adequate documentation / data support / analysis of data
- Review processes on a regular basis, including agreeing preventive actions or improvements; drive continuous improvement and provide recommendations for best in class processes
- Deploy tools and technology to drive process efficiencies, including optimal use of S4HANA capabilities
- Ensure all agreed KPIs related to submission of tax returns are met (eg on time, accurate and complete preparation and submission of tax returns and reporting)
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
Experiences & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Experience in Global Services Centre
- Knowledge of SAP (ideally S4HANA)
- Good knowledge of accounting and tax, with 7-8 years experience in Tax/Accounting role
- Ability to work collaboratively across an organisation and externally to resolve issues; strong stakeholder management skills
- Naturally curious with a strong continuous improvement mindset and able to be agile/adaptable in changing circumstances.
- Strong organisational skills and capable of handling a variety of tasks and prioritising accordingly to meet deadlines
- Great attention to detail, project management, and problem-solving attitude.
