As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking a dynamic highly skilled and strategic Ice Cream ERP Data Migration Strategy Lead to oversee and manage the data migration process for our ERP implementation. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive data migration strategy, ensuring data integrity, and leading a team of data migration specialists.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive data migration strategy, methodology and approach for Ice Cream ERP systems.
- Define transformation areas on Data Management and execute this program in line with Ice Cream growth priorities.
- Lead and manage the data migration team, IT teams, consultants, providing guidance and support.
- Drive program leadership and strategy, manage end-to-end data activities and hands-on project delivery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Functional Data Owners, Process Owners, BI-SI Teams, SMEs) to understand data requirements and ensure successful data migration for standalone Ice Cream business
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency throughout the migration process.
- Identify and mitigate risks, change impact associated with data migration and ensure smooth transition ensuring business continuity
- Develop and maintain data migration documentation, including plans, schedules, and reports.
- Conduct data validation and reconciliation to ensure data quality.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on the progress of data migration strategy planning and execution activities.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in data migration and ERP systems.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Proven Expertise: 5-10 years of extensive experience in Data Management, Data Migration Projects preferably in an ERP environment. Ideally some of your experience has been gained from Ice Cream.
- ERP & Data Management Technology Knowledge: Hands-on experience with Data Management ERP implementations, preferably in systems like SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Edge and Cloud Technologies (Microsoft Azure etc.) or similar equivalent systems
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in a global environment, delivering results under tight timelines.
- Change Management: Extensive experience in developing and implementing change management strategies for complex global programs, ensuring stakeholder alignment and user adoption. Certification in project management (PMP etc) – Agile is a plus.
- Communication & Collaboration: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence and engage senior leadership and business units globally. Proven track record of building strong relationships and managing expectations at all levels of the organization.
- Global Perspective: Experience working in diverse international markets, with a strong understanding of the cultural, regulatory, and operational complexities that impact global ERP deployments.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business needs into process improvements.
- Willingness to Travel: Ability to travel globally to support market-specific needs during the design, build, and deployment phases.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Data Management, Computer Science or a related field
