KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Record to Report Establishment
- Lead the design and deployment of an efficient, standard, scalable and fit-for-purpose global RTR process model for the new ice cream company enforcing proper risk management and robust controls.
- Support the deployment of ERP and supporting finance systems by providing technical accounting, reporting and controls knowledge for RTR processes.
- Design the end-to-end RTR organisation including the 3PSP for the new ice cream company, which will serve to ice cream markets as a center of excellence.
- Plan and execute the recruitment, onboarding and training of the global RTR team to stand up and take over the RTR operations at the TSA exit date.
Record to Report Process Excellence & Capabilities
- Maximize compliance with the designed global process model and put proper guardrails around deviations to mitigate risk when they are inevitable.
- Maintain a strict standard of zero significant control deficiencies.
- Continuously pursue, develop, or integrate innovative technologies to enhance efficiency and reduce risk within RTR operations.
Record to Report Operations
- Lead the Global RTR operations team to deliver excellent service to the markets.
- Lead the business engagement with market controllers, acting as their extended team.
- Drive effective joint business plans with markets to support the controllership agenda.
- Drive continuous improvement for efficiency and cost optimization in RTR operations.
- Maintain the controls discipline and hygiene in operations to hit a strict standard of zero significant control deficiencies.
- Function as the escalation point for most significant day-to-day issues or problems in the respective scope.
Global Management Reporting (GMR)
- Coordinate the timely and complete delivery of management reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, necessitating extensive collaboration with business units, 3PSP, Group Controlling team and the Group Performance Controlling team.
- Lead initiatives for continuous enhancement in GMR processes, aiming to achieve operational efficiencies, elevate reporting accuracy, and foster agility.
YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
Experiences & Qualifications:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or equivalent.
- Qualified Chartered Accountant or other professional qualification, with a minimum 10 years of experience in financial accounting and controls.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in leading a team.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in leading a shared service, managing 3PSPs and working with multicultural and multi-location teams.
- Experience in designing and establishing processes and teams will be desirable.
