We are currently seeking an applicant to join our team and fill a full-time position of HR Recruiter/Administrator at our farm in Leamington, ON.
JOB DETAILS
The HR Recruiter is responsible for full lifecycle recruitment, ensuring that candidates are chosen in a fair manner based on experience and qualifications. The Recruiter is the first point of contact for the applicants and the recruitment process should be a positive experience for the candidate.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Posting job advertisements, tracking, and screening resumes and job applications; scheduling, conducting, and assisting in interview processes. Reaching out to references when necessary.
- Preparing new employees files, holding orientations and complete employee folders after orientation is completed.
- Notifying other departments of new hires as necessary and arrange for job specific training if applicable.
- Manage the door card system for new and existing employees.
- Maintain contact with the school board for all employees that are under 18 (SALEP and Access).
- Enrol all qualifying farms employees with benefits and RSP’s, review the coverage with them and delete separated employees; assist with completing claims as required.
- Maintaining current HR files- both hard copy and electronic.
- Answering employee questions and ensure proper and timely follow-up.
- Preparation of formal communications to employees for HR Management review.
- Drafting general forms, letters, reports, and memos.
- Compiling reports and maintaining and updating spreadsheets.
- Assist with the planning and execution of company events.
- Other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- A certificate in Human Resource Management would be an asset but not a requirement.
- Must have computer knowledge, specifically Excel.
- Time management, planning and organization skills.
- Great verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be strong with follow through as many tasks require constant follow-up.
- Must be attentive to details and have a strong sense of urgency to complete tasks/follow up.

- Multi-tasking, time management and prioritizing are essential.
- Must be able to work independently but also be a good team player.
- S/he is required to report to work Monday-Friday with occasional Saturday’s.
Salary – Based on experience.
