The HSE Co-op works with all site teams in the manufacturing facility. This position provides the opportunity to join a dynamic team focused on maturing HSE culture, ensuring legal compliance and supporting continuous improvement of health, safety and environmental programs as our facilities work toward best-in-class systems and metrics.
The primary responsibilities of the position are:
- Facilitating site wide risk assessments by area and coordinating follow ups.
- Tracking, monitoring and interpretation of environmental management system data and assistance with internal monthly reporting.
- Develop and maintain environmental training programs and materials.
- Lead the development of sustainability and environmental efficiency projects (waste, water, energy) and other cost saving initiatives.
- Involvement with incident investigation (health, safety and environment), root cause analysis and generation of corrective actions.
Education:
- Successful individuals will ideally be pursuing a BS in Health/Safety/Environmental Science/Engineering.
Job specific requirements:
- Individuals will possess the ability to build and develop strong cross functional relationships in a fast-paced manufacturing plant.
- A demonstrated drive for results, ability to set and deliver upon indicated priorities and customer focus is critical to success.

Work schedule: Monday through Friday / 37.5hrs
