Job Overview:
This role would be primarily involved in the following activities:
- Leading and directing Commercial Finance activities for India Foods businesses.
- Delivering Net Revenue & Cost to Serve for delivering India Foods NOPBT.
- Drives submissions of MIS, tracking of Commercial KPIs and business performance reviews with business leaders.
- Support the Business in its AOP delivery through analytical reviews and performance diagnosis
- Set up and drive robust forecasting process.
- Work Closely with UM’s & Category leads to drive the top line agenda.
Responsibilities
- Support and facilitate Unit commercial teams in developing country level Annual Operating Plan (AOP) across all Sales finance lines.
- Cascade and communicate AOP to locations in a seamless manner ensuring ownership & sign offs
- Ensure preparation of financial forecasts including monthly / quarterly P&L and volume analytics (forecasts / outlooks) and provide heads up on risks & opportunities.
- Partner with Unit Manager in managing distribution economics and driving efficiency for foods cost to serve.
- Drive closing process of P&L and Balance Sheet as per defined frequency and ensure timeliness and accuracy.
- Drive Balance Sheet hygiene, review and remediation centrally and with Locations as per rigorous calendar.
- Drive the “Working Capital Productivity” ask on the Day Sales Outstanding (DSO) front.
- Facilitate analysis and review of actual performance on key metrics (Trade margins, D&A, Modern.
- Trade, Distributor margin & expenses, Sales Supervision costs, GTM types & expenses, Sales A&M.
- Central spends, Bottle & Crates analytics and turns.
- Work with Sales Head on business performance reviews and determine interventions.
- Provide Executive Committee Performance Review support.
- Standardize financial review templates.
- GCS: Facilitate Risk assessment with functions, support with control design, ensure S2C GCS cycle – monitoring, testing, remediation, risk assessment, effectiveness. Update GCS and SOX documentation.
- Develop commercial proposals for deal creations with customers across channels.
- Partner Business stakeholders in resolving business issues (commercial/legal) , Commercial KPI’s tracking, giving on-going business support.
- Ensure frequent engagement with Field Sales team and training to explain the processes, issue resolutions, consequence management.
- Collaborate with HBS for process reviews.
Qualifications
- CA/MBA with 15+ years of prior experience in Finance.
- Experience in Commercial and FP&A.
- Experience in presenting business case or project case to business stakeholder.
- Require excellent communication skills.
- Require excellent analytical and presentation skills.
