Position Overview:
Are you driven to lead the marketing plans and activation of some of the biggest brands in our Australian portfolio as we reach more consumers and fulfil our purpose to ‘refresh the world, make a difference’?
We are recruiting a Frontline Marketing Manager, Australia, on a permanent basis to manage a specific portfolio of brands including but not limited to Fanta, Sprite, Kirks and Deep Spring.
We are looking for people that have a passion for building relationships and will be proud to be a representative of our brands, are results driven and have sound experience in marketing, brand and category.
Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:
- Lead development of annual and multi-year brand growth strategies and business plans for a specified portfolio of brands in Australia to deliver against overall brand vision, business objectives and financial targets. (local brands)
- Recommend and deliver a rolling 18-month Australian calendar
- Manage bottler alignment on the marketing agenda: portfolio priorities and category/brand strategies and plans (objectives, DME investments, success metrics and activity calendars, including Innovation projects and IMX Campaigns) in partnership with Commercial, Customer and Franchise teams.
- Assess attractive local consumer opportunities that are currently untapped by the Company by leveraging consumer research, collaborating with functional experts and strong analytics in order to identify new volume and profit growth areas (e.g., new beverage sub-categories, new packaging opportunities, new merchandise categories, new channels of distribution to sell licensed merchandise).
- Lead the activation of global brand plans , ensuring best in class experiential, strong media plans and alignment with our bottling partner.
- Partner with internal (e.g. R&D, Supply Chain, Commercial) and external (e.g. customers, bottlers, suppliers) stakeholders to develop new and/or improved packaging and programs to meet consumer needs, deliver against brand strategies and drive System value/business objectives
- Drive commercialisation of brand positioning, innovation, consumer communications/messaging and shopper marketing to deliver brand objectives via clear direction/guidance and effective resource allocation decisions
- Provide leadership, clear direction to direct report, functional reports and external agencies to achieve the business goals.
- Help support development and coaching of team. (1 direct report + 3 functional reports)
- Influence and collaborates with key bottling partner to ensure plans are aligned and executed to best in class levels.
Education Requirements:
- Min 10+ years of experience in brand management and/or marketing in consumer-packaged goods, beverage experience ideal.
Related Work Experience:
- Proven experience in relationship management, brand development, strategic planning and execution, management of marketing communications, segmentation, project management and research.
- Experience developing and managing budgets.
- Senior level experience in a complex organization
- People management experience
