We are a multinational production company in Packaging Industry located in Istanbul-Tuzla. We are looking for “Foreign Trade Operations Executive”, who will has a chance to get career opportunities in Purchasing and Import Team in Istanbul Plant.
Job Description:
Procurement (Operational Purchasing- Direct Materials)
- Tracks/follows incoming purchase requisitions, processes orders based on the purchasing contracts in the system and place orders to the suppliers.
- Follows order acknowledgements and revise the PO in the SAP system accordingly. Ensures on time delivery to the plant. Reflects any changes into the SAP system, by systematically screening the POs.
- Attends Forecast , Safety Stock and Re-Order Point Meetings monthly with Purchasing and Planning Departments. Provides operational, supplier status and market input.
- Makes sure the shipping documents are prepared in accordance with the import rules of Turkey, International Trade Rules, Siegwerk internal rules as well as under the agreed conditions of Purchasing, if needed ask for the corrections. Makes sure the PO and Invoice conditions are 100% matching before the arrival of the goods.
- Manages the supplier relationship with the right hard and soft skills so that the service level of the supplier for Siegwerk is maximized.
- Constantly looking for improvement areas; operational, procedural, landed cost aspects.
Customs (Import & Export Operations)
- Leads and co-operates for execution of import and export customs operations.
- Makes sure that the custom operations are executed in accordance with the Import&Export Rules of Turkey, International Regulations as well as Siegwerk Internal Regulations.
- Following the realization of the operation, ensures checking and confirming the final document set including custom and landed cost documents.
- Leads the projects of AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) and Inward Processing Authorisation Certificate.
- Leads letter of credit procedure and ensures proper contract and documentation and process flow accordingly with relevant parties.
| Qualifications:
· University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or a similar field · Good communicator, team player, dynamic, goal oriented, highly flexible and hardworking · Having agile and multidimensional vision when it comes to crisis management · Strong analytical problem solving ability and excellent negotiation skills · High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results – orientation · High level of competency in Microsoft Office programs · SAP knowledge is a must · Ability to come up to speed quickly on new techniques/processes in a fast paced environment · Advance level in both written and verbal English · Min. 4 years’ experience in operational procurement and min. 7 years of work experience in total · Have experience and desire to work in a global company · No military obligation for male candidates · No obstacle for business travels |
