Position Summary
As a Financial Analyst, you will act as a key contributor to all Decision Support Activities of the Nespresso Greece. You will help creating transparency and generating insights to support the decision-making and piloting of the Nespresso Business. Your activities will include the production and distribution of timely, accurate and relevant management reporting as well as the preparation of different ad-hoc analysis in coordination with financial co-pilots. You will also actively participate to the journey of bringing our BI capabilities to the next level in the area of controlling.
A day in the life of…
- Provide transparency on main business KPI’s across the Nespresso Greece region via the establishment of regular financial and non-financial reports to Finance and General management.
- Provide synthetic comments and insights on the performance.
- Understand and consolidate input from controlling teams on underlying reasons of performance.
- Make sure all main variances are explained allowing to act towards improvements.
- Prepare monthly management as well as ad-hoc presentations for Market controlling and Nespresso/Nestle Management Meetings.
- Propose pro-actively continuous improvement in the way how we generate insights, and perform ad-hoc analysis on specific subjects when additional deep-dive is needed, for both HQ and market controlling.
- Aggregate and consolidate input from controlling teams on short- and long-term planning processes (e.g., target setting, portfolio management) when a consolidated regon view is needed.
- Back-up for Controller in all activities.
What will make you successful
- University Degree in Economics or any other related field.
- Strong finance background with 3+ years’ experience in Finance & Control.
- Previous controlling or decision support experience would be a strong advantage.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to cut through complex, big data sets to generate insights.
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI).
- Open-minded personality with ability to work with a broad network of people and functions in the organization.
- Fluent in Greek & English.
