Job Summary
We are looking for an Environment Engineer who will be responsible for carrying out, and continuously improving the environmental programs and long-term sustainability strategy. Also, examine existing activities, services and products to assess and manage risks, as well as identify and leverage opportunities.This is a local role based in Jeddah.
What you will do
- Create, Modify , Update and maintain documents required ( e.g. Energy data, VOC, Waste, Environmental Aspects & Impacts, legal and other requirements, Environment Social Management plan, etc,
- Ensure satisfying all lenders’ and LTA requirements
- Provide technical assistance to environmental concerns related to Emissions to Air (point source & Fugitive), wastewater generation and treatment, Hazardous/Non Hazardous wastes segregation, storage, transportation and disposal.
- Establishing environmental monitoring plans ( Waste minimization, wastewater monitoring , GHG and FMP)
- Conduct environmental incident investigation to prevent recurrence and provide remedial action plan to restore affected area.
- Work with teams to ensure all operations and maintenance activities are in environmental compliance and meet the respective KPIs.
- Conduct regular inspections on plant and during operations and maintenance work to ensure that environmental standards and guidelines are being adhered to and report any deviations from environmental norms to environment section head and/or relevant section heads.
- Prepare and review various environment section reports. Carrying out environmental performance monitoring, trend analysis, and maintain up to date records.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities as designated by the Environment Section Head
We believe you have
- Entry Level position for fresh engineer graduate
- Fluency in English Language is required.
- Environmental Engineering background is preferred.
- Good communication and collaboration skills between different departments and key stake holders.
- Good Computer Knowledge.
- Ability to achieve schedules, good interpersonal skills, ,Team player,
- self-initiative and self-driven, accountable, open to change,
- Well organized and proactive.
- Good negotiation skills and Cost conscious.
