Job Summary
Translating customer artwork or image and intent to a repro (design conversion) order from Design Developer (DD) following DD instruction and Tetra Pak specifications, make customer satisfied and meet productivity demands. Ensuring that all Tetra Pak specifications are respected and followed. Deliver qualified image file that try to match with customer color target and meet Repro quality standard to assembling team. Can work independently and participate Repro improvement activities within APAC Repro Hub.
This position will be based in Tokyo, Japan.
What you will do
- Receive and check Design developer’s design instruction. Technically retouch image and decide how should match customer/DD request based on Tetra Pak specifications, satisfying customer and productivity demands.
- Support to convert customer artwork image or files to production ready files, following DD instructions and agreed work procedures according to the Repro process based on Tetra Pak specification.
- Perform conversion of artwork file to proof, the proof should be qualified and match with color target
- Hand over completed and qualified retouch job to assembling team.
- Responsible for providing professional technical suggestion and consultancy to design developer or customer.
- Participate in improvement activities within Repro Hub, and develop and work with workflow improvements to increase efficiency and quality of Retouch and Repro.
We believe you have
- Design/Art/print College degree, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 3+ years of experience and / or master’s degree (or equivalent)
- Basic Mac and PC configuration knowledge
- Professional and Strong knowledge with Graphic arts software, such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Ability of Esko Graphics software will be a plus.
- Experience or knowledge in – Design handling and packaging, good understanding or basic knowledge of printing (Flexography, Offset printing)
- Strong learning capability
- Ability to work independently, self-motivated, teamwork player
- Native level Japanese and business level English
