1) Main Purpose
GBS is a growing function within PepsiCo that leverages one strategy and common approach to introduce new, technology-driven capabilities and elevate service quality while meeting current and future business needs. PEP NRM is a key priority function where transformation, technology, strategy and capabilities enablement are aimed to be the best in class, and to be standardized and deployed globally. The vision is to develop playbook to develop analytic packs with insights across Brand Ladders, Channel PPA, In-Market Pack Price realization, Trade Investment Strategy, Promo ROI and Mix Management. This work will accelerate growth through efficient positioning across price tiers, optimized channel-based package types, right pricing, well directed commercial strategy and increase promotional ROI driven by enhanced and standardized insights.
This position will be part of the GBS – Globa Net Revenue Management organization. This position contributes to the success of the company and contribute to growth through strategy development, and implementation of NRM frameworks. The incumbement lead the strategy and execution for different markets across the globe and work with different stakeholders to develop NRM playbooks and ensure analytics execution
2) Accountabilities
Functional Responsibilities
• Lead 8-10 NRM analysts in developing and delivering Brand Ladder & Channel PPA analytics for markets across NA, Europe, LATAM, AMESA, and APAC, incorporating standardized best practices through the use analytic pack ‘Playbooks’
• Train the NRM analysts on their team in leveraging playbooks, understanding market dynamics, utilizing advanced analytics, applying market knowledge to visualizations and insights, and lead them in creating playbooks with industry’s leading practices
• Serve as market POC during analytic pack development and lead structured reviews of analytic packs
• Serve as the first point of contact for analysts’ questions/issues, and escalate to the Global NRM or GBS NRM Lead as necessary
• Collaborate with other BL & Channel PPA Market Group Leads to maximize efficient and effective use of NRM analysts, external consultants, internal IT, data science/technical resources, and BU expertise
• Integrate insights from playbook execution, observation generation, and market feedback into comprehensive summaries for Global NRM BL & Channel PPA Lead and GBS NRM Lead and collaborate with BL & Channel PPA Lead in updating playbook templates as necessary
Key Activities
• Manage multiple NRM analysts, their activities and workloads to deliver ‘Analytic Packs’ to markets
• Lead structured reviews and handoffs of analytic packs to markets
• Manage successful execution of analytics to identify NRM pipeline opportunities by integrating knowledge of market dynamics
• Own the deployment of GBS standards and SLAs across NRM team to deliver high performance
• Review analytics packs for quality prior to delivery
Qualifications/Requirements
3) Key Skills/Experience Required
• 9-12 years of experience in Retail Analytics/Category Management/Revenue Management
• Experience in Advanced Analytics and handling Pricing, Promo, Assortment, Trade Investment and other Revenue Management Analytical practices
• Strong record in CPG Consulting with minimum 3-5 years CPG practice experience
• Change Management – leading large-scale change and digital transformation
• Strong Advanced Analytics acumen, Agile ways of working, managing high end data science
• Demonstrated record of thought leadership in applying data-driven models that have had a tangible impact on sales and marketing operations across markets.
• Solid project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and to tight deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Experience working with senior Directors/VP-level partners
• Experience working with stakeholders in North America, LATAM, APAC, or EMEA markets
• Clarity in communication (English language) to enable production of a very high standard of commentary that is impactful and credible amongst our most senior audiences.
• Bachelor’s in commerce/business administration/Engg., Master’s degree is a plus
• Best-in-class time management skills, ability to multitask, set priorities and plan.
