An exciting new opportunity exists due to an internal promotion for a Demand Manager to lead the Demand Planning team and work collaboratively across the business managing our planning process to ensure the effective application of tools and disciplines to deliver the highest quality demand plan. The Demand Planning Team will deliver strong demand plan accuracy and enable Nestlé New Zealand to deliver best in class availability and profitability.

Your key responsibilities will be:
- Lead and coach a skilled, motivated Demand Planning team to continuously improve the quality of the Demand Plans and the efficiency with which they are produced.
- Manage the relationship and the effective flow of information between the Demand Planning function and internal business partners such as Customer Solutions, Customer Facing Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, Operations, Sales, Marketing and Finance.
- Manage the relationship and effective flow of information between the Demand Planning function and external business partners such as Customers through forecast collaboration processes.
- Championing the Monthly Business Planning process across the Supply Chain and Commercial teams to ensure consistent application of best practice across businesses.

What will make you successful
Working closely with multiple people at various levels this role requires strong leadership skills, commercial acumen and great communication skills. You will be tertiary qualified and have experience in Demand Planning and/or Sales & Operational Planning and Project Management. Striving continually for improvement, you are an innovative and inspiring leader who isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty. Ideally you have experience using SAP APO or similar Demand Planning Software.
